Introduction
IFOAM’s mission is leading, uniting and assisting the organic movement in its full diversity. IFOAM’s goal is the worldwide adoption of ecologically, socially and economically sound systems that are based on the principles of Organic Agriculture.

Accreditation and Scope:
The International Organic Accreditation Service (IOAS) accredited QAI on February 14, 2003. QAI is accredited for the following IFOAM programs:
Crop production
Processing and Handling
Grower Groups (only available for operations in economically disadvantaged regions)
Certification Transference

Countries of operation:
QAI currently certifies IFOAM operations in Canada, Paraguay and the USA. QAI is not limited to certifying in these countries and is currently expanding its international operations.

QAI’s IFOAM Compliance Program:
QAI’s IFOAM Organic Compliance Plans cover the differences between the NOP and QAI’s IFOAM Standards, including, but not limited to:
